Name: 1954 – Godzilla
Description: The testing of nuclear weapons in the Pacific Ocean triggers the awakening of a dreadful, 400-foot-tall, fire-breathing prehistoric lizard who commences to wreak havoc on the city of Tokyo. This is the original Japanese version of GODZILLA, without the Americanized addition with Raymond Burr.
Name: 1955 – Godzilla raids again
Description: (Also known as Gigantis, the Fire Monster) Two pilots named Tsukioka and Kobayashi are hunting for schools of fish for a tuna cannery company in Osaka. Kobayashi’s plane malfunctions and is forced to land near Iwato Island, an uninhabited strip of rocks formed by volcanic eruptions. Tsukioka then looks for Kobayashi and finds him safe, with only a wrist sprain. While talking, the two men hear some strange sounds and find two monsters fighting. Tsukioka immediately recognizes one of the monsters to be Godzilla.
Name: 1962 – King Kong vs Godzilla
Description: Mr. Tako, the chairman of a pharmaceutical company, learns of roma tomato-sized berries that grow on Farou Island, are a miracle cure, and that the natives worship a god called King Kong who has allegedly grown to giant size from eating the berries. MR Tako figures what better way is there to promote the product, than to bring the creature back to Japan. So he leads an expedition with Sakurai and Furue to get the berries and the monster. Meanwhile, some American pilots discover the chunk of the glacier Godzilla was sealed in back in 1955. Sakurai’s sister boyfriend Kazuo is busy trying to sell an invisible but super strong wire, which of course no one wants until Kong escapes.
Name: 1964 – Godzilla vs Ghidorah the three headed monster
Description : A prophet’s apocalyptic predictions come true when a meteor crashes to earth, bringing to life the evil three-headed dragon King Ghidorah. To make matters worse, Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan resurface to terrorize Japan; the earth’s only hope is that the catastrophic trio will defend their home turf against this extraterrestrial enemy.
Name: 1964 – Mothra vs Godzilla
Description: A news reporter named Sakai and his photographer Junko take pictures of the wreckage caused by a typhoon. Later on that day, a giant egg is discovered on the shore. The local villagers salvage it, and scientists come to study the egg. While Sakai and Junko try to ask, Professor Miura questions about the egg, an entrepreneur of Happy Enterprises named Kumayama scurries the scientists off and explains that he bought the egg from the local villagers. Instead of letting scientists study the egg, Kumayama wants to make it into a large tourist attraction. Sakai, Junko, and Professor Miura are disgusted and believe that Kumayama has no right to keep the egg.
Name: 1965 – Invasion of Astro Monster
Description: The year is 196X, the two-man spacecraft, crewed by a Japanese and American (Fuji and Glenn), is approaching Jupiter to visit the newly-discovered “Planet X”, which inexplicably maintains a position directly behind Jupiter. The planet is rather dark, but still lit up enough to be visible and for it to be possible to navigate its surface. The spacecraft lands, and the astronauts disembark. Soon after the astronauts, encounter inhabitants called Xilians who ask to borrow the two Earth-bound Monsters Zero-One and Monster Zero-Two to combat their own terror, Monster Zero.
Name: 1966 – Ebirah, Horror of the deep
Description: Some teenagers want to obtain a boat to find a brother. When they look around a boat without permission, they find a thief who takes them on his escape. They are caught in a storm and arrive at Letchi Island where natives of Infant Island have been enslaved by the terrorist organization Red Bamboo. Red Bamboo runs a heavy water factory to process a juice which holds off the monster, Ebirah, which otherwise traps them on the island. The young men meet beautiful but tough Daiyo and wake up Godzilla to put an end to the Red Bamboo.
Name: 1967 – Son of Godzilla
Description: The second in the “island” trilogy, SON OF GODZILLA opens with a group of scientists on a deserted island performing weather experiments; they soon discover that nuclear activity has mutated insects on the island into huge preying mantises. They courageously continue with their experiment until a horrible accident cause a radioactive storm, mutating the insects further, uncovering a giant egg, and summoning Godzilla. The egg hatches into a young monster that Godzilla takes under his wing, training it in the ways of proper monsterhood while battling the giant insects. Akira Kubo stars as an intrepid journalist who comes to the island in search of a story.

Name: 1969 – Godzillas revenge
Description: Ichiro is a highly imaginative, but lonely, boy growing up in urban Tokyo. Every day he comes home to the empty apartment he shares with his railroad worker father and his restaurant hostess mother. His only friends are a toy maker name Shinpei Inami and a little girl named Sachicko. The only other kids that are around are a gang of kids led by a bully named Gabara. To escape his loneliness, Ichiro imagines that he is on Monster Island where he befriends Minya, the son of Godzilla. It is through his daydreams that he watches Godzilla and Minya fight other monsters, including one also named Gabara who is just as bad a bully as the one that is tormenting Ichiro. It is through these daydreams that he learns that it is okay to fight back and face his fears. These lessons also help him to outwit a couple of bumbling bank robbers as well as finally have the guts to stand up to Gabara and his gang.

Description: According to an Okinawa legend, when a black mountain appears in the skies above the clouds, a monster will arrive and attempt to destroy the world. However, if this divination comes true, a red moon will set, two suns will arise (one being an optical illusion rising from the west), and two monsters will fight off evil to rescue the world. In a cave near the city, an engineer and an archaeologist uncover a statue of the protector of Okinawa, known as King Caesar. He is believed to be one of the monsters to fight for humankind in the prophecy. Later, a black mountain does appear in the sky. Godzilla then rises from a dormant volcano and starts on a rampage. Many people, however, do not believe Godzilla will be the monster to destroy Earth.
Name: 1975 – Terror of Mechagodzilla
Description: Continuing after the end of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Interpol agents, led by Inspector Kusakari (Masaaki Daimon), search for the wreck of the first Mechagodzilla at the bottom of the Okinawan Sea in the submarine, Akatsuki, to gather information on its builders, the aliens from Planet 3 in the Black Hole. But, the Akatsuki is suddenly ravaged by a giant aquatic dinosaur called Titanosaurus, and the crew is apparently lost.

Description: This film picks up thirty years after the first Godzilla’s death in 1954. A fishing vessel caught in a terrible storm encounters a volcanic eruption at sea which awakens a new Godzilla. Days later, a reporter, Goro Maki, is sailing in the oceans and discovers the wrecked fishing vessel. He investigates to find only one survivor, Hiroshi Okumura. The rest were killed by the giant sea louse, a mutant parasite which presumably fed from the new Godzilla’s blood.

Description: Using some rare cells from Godzilla, Dr. Shiragami has genetically engineered an indestructible plant life form. Known as Biollante, the creature is content to be alone until Godzilla comes back to wreak havoc on Tokyo. Description: In 1992, overnight in Japan, a UFO appears, and flies over the nation of Japan. That same day, the UFO sighting coincides with Godzilla’s awakening in the ocean.

Description: The Earth is headed for disaster and when an archeological research team visits Infant Island to find out why, they discover two tiny women who reveal that the Earth is fighting back for all the harm humans have done here and sends out the evil Battra to destroy us. The Cosmos, as the girls are called, offer their help by calling Mothra to battle the creature. Unfortunately, Godzilla also appears and a three way battle begins that threatens to destroy Japan.

Description: When a devious Godzilla clone arrives from outerspace to ravage the earth, Godzilla, Junior Godzilla, and Mogera–a giant robot created to destroy Godzilla–must team up to protect their planet. All the while, a team of psychics attempt to control Godzilla telepathically, much to the annoyance of the radioactive lizard. Description: Something has destroyed Birth Island, home of Godzilla and Little Godzilla and soon, it is discovered that Godzilla has developed a bright flaming glow, indicating that his nuclear energy is growing out of control. Fearing that Godzilla will soon explode, the G-Force tries to freeze him, thus cooling his temperature. But another problem arises as a horde of human sized creatures, formed from a combination of Godzilla cells, and the weapon that destroyed the original one, The Oxygen Destroyer. Description: The 23rd in the cult series of Japanese monster movies that began in 1954, GODZILLA 2000 beckons the giant, indestructible lizard from his hiding place deep in the ocean. This time, Godzilla has emerged and marched into Tokyo (chomping down an ocean tanker in the process) to fight a different kind of enemy: an alien spaceship named Orga that also appears as a large rock. Description: In an effort to get rid of Godzilla once and for all, Japan develops a device which is supposed to open up a black hole, allowing its people to blast the giant city-stomping lizard creature into another dimension. While the hole is opened, an insect from that other dimension sneaks through and lays an egg, which finds its way into the sewers of Tokyo. Before long, a swarm of alien insects–which feed on Godzilla’s energy–are wreaking their own brand of havoc on Japan and its citizens.
